Meet the Leadership Team

Blaine brings more than 20 years of executive experience at Rockwell International and Occidental Petroleum to BOC. He is a guest lecturer at the University of Kansas’ MBA program. Blaine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Illinois State University and an MBA from Eastern Illinois University. Blaine has served on the Foundation Board at Eastern Illinois University, serves as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University and is involved with helping non-profit organizations in Lawrence, Kansas City and Chicago.

As CIO for UMB Financial, CB Richard Ellis, Mattel, Inc. and Levi Strauss, Inc. Jim has over 35 years experience overseeing the technology progress in both the U.S. and five foreign continents. He is on the advisory board of University of Kansas and Rockhurst University. He was named CIO of the year in Kansas City and has numerous articles published. Jim earned a B.S.B.A from Quincy University.

Scott works at a high-level with business leaders and commands respect within the IT community for his technology skills incuding web site and web application development. He makes sure to understand strategic goals, business processes and budgets before recommending a web- or mobile-based solution. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas.

Marty’s focus for client solutions is execution. He has worked as a Network Administrator for the University of Illinois and headed the I.T. Department for Jimmy John’s, Inc. He participated in growing Jimmy John’s from 379 restaurants with no I.T Department to 1,009 restaurants with a critically important I.T. Department. He leads the development team to deliver best in class solutions on time and on budget. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Eastern Illinois University and is an MCSE and MCDBA.

As an Account Executive for Lucent Technologies, National Account Manager for Verizon Business and Senior Account Executive for Perceptive Software Eric has over 18 years of experience in the technology industry. Over this time Eric received numerous awards, but most importantly he received the respect and trust of his customers. His customers stretch across all sectors of business and range from a single store to Fortune 500 companies. He is an avid golfer, tennis player and youth coach for basketball and soccer. Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Bill has more than 12 years experience working in software product development. During his tenure in the media broadcast software space, Bill enjoyed client facing roles that allowed him manage and foster relationships with corporate partners. Bill has extensive experience designing and implementing business process work flows that offered operational efficiencies and maximization of revenue. Prior to working in technology, Bill enjoyed a teaching career in the domestic United States and in Asia. Incorporated in Bill’s bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Kansas is an emphasis in pre medical course work.

Twinkie has been called an American Icon for his painstaking efforts of satisfying people’s snack cravings for over 65 years. The art of being appealing to people was developed during his lead sponsorship role of the Howdy Doody Show and other commercial acting gigs. He has also been honored for his heroic efforts in saving the lives of Fruit Pie the Magician and Happy Ho Ho. Twinkie graduated Summa Cum Twinkie from Howdy Doody Cowboy Academy where he also served as President and Chairman of the Howdy Doody Confectionary Review.
